UCA Farnham Fine Art - SHOW3

UCA Farnham Fine Art students from across year 1, 2 & 3 worked together to hang and curate their 3rd studio exhibition. The exhibition showcases the diverse range of approaches to making that encompasses medium specific, expanded and post medium practices. After the private view, students convened to spent the rest of this week discussing their work with the course team, and the visiting artists Francis Richardson and Jonathan Parsons.

UCA Farnham Fine Art Student Success - Julia Keenan

UCA Farnham Fine Art student, Julia Keenan, who is currently in her final year has work in the group exhibition Pop Living, curated by Ismail Erbil at the Schwartz Gallery, London. The exhibition opens on 12th February until 28th.

Amy Scott-Pillow Exhibition in the Linear Gallery




UCA Farnham Fine Art student, Amy Scott-Pillow, currently studying in year 2, has an exhibition of her work in the Linear Gallery at Farnham.

Amy's work reconfigures found objects to reappraise their value as she intervenes with the material values of the objects to explore colour and playfulness with sculpture.

Graham Hudson & Jamie Shovlin Artists at UCA Farnham Fine Art This Week!

This week to complement the visiting artists Sigrid Holmwood and Mathew Weir whose work focuses on painting, the artists Graham Hudson and Jamie Shovlin have been at UCA Farnham Fine Art to support students. Their practices explore expanded notions of sculpture and post media fine art practice that encompass, installation, moving image, drawing and performative elements.

Srin Surti in New Brute at ARTHOUSE1, London



UCA Farnham Fine Art tutor, Srin Surti has new work being exhibited at ARTHOUSE1 gallery London. Srin's sculptural works are offset by paintings from Ian Parker, Head of School for Fine Art. The exhibition opens on 6th February until 28th.

UCA Farnham Fine Art Student Success - Signature Art Prize 2015

Five students who graduated in the UCA Farnham Fine Art class of 2014 who have gone on to have success disseminating their practice have made it through to the long list for the International Signature Art Prize 2015. 
Anna Garrett, Peter Hanmer, Stephanie Hadingham, Morwenna Lake, Louise Scillitoe-Brown have continue the success and are joined by current final year student Julia Keenan who will graduate this summer in the class of 2015.

Anna also has work in an exhibition that opens at the end of February, whilst Julia currently has a piece causing a stir in the Linear Gallery exhibition "Interruptions". Julia also has work in another exhibition that opens in February too.
