Amanda Couch in Bermondsey Art Trail & KALEID 2014

UCA Farnham Fine Art tutor, Amanda Couch has work in two separate events. The first took place on 12th July as part of the Bermondsey Art Trail with her open studio at ACAVA in Bermondsey and also a screening of her recent short film Lachesis: Pig's Intestine 2013 s part of a screening of artists films at the art cinema SHORTWAVE, in Bermondsey Square.




The upcoming event will see both versions of her 2012 bookworks, Reflection on Digestion  exhibited at KALEID 2014 on Saturday 19 July 2014, at The Art Academy, Mermaid Court, 165a Borough High Street. London SE1 1HR, from 11-8pm.





Amanda will be doing a series of performance readings during the day, on the hour from 12pm to 7pm for ten minutes.

Grant Petrey in Sweet FA. A Journey Through Artists Film, at Plymouth Arts Centre




UCA Farnham Fine Art & Arts & Media tutor, Grant Petrey has work screening this week at the Plymouth Arts Centre as part of the artists film programme Sweet FA. The programme is delivered in collaboration with Sundog Media with support from Plymouth University, and features talks by collaborative film makers Kayla Parker and Stuart Moore.

Sweet FA is a year-long programme that introduces and investigates filmmaking and moving image in contemporary visual arts. It is a structured course for adults who want to know more about artist’s film, and is also suitable for the curious and bemused as well as artists, filmmakers, students and film lovers.  Participants can attend all sessions or select those of most interest to them.  Sessions are individually priced and some will be free.
