UCA Farnham Fine Art WORK1 2015 Opens!



UCA Farnham Fine Art students across years 1, 2, & 3 have work in the 1st studio exhibition of the academic year. The work produced by students in the exhibition covers medium specific and post media approaches to exploring their ideas.

Students worked in cross year critical peer groups to explore the themes, issues, and approaches present within their developing practice. Course tutors and visiting artists also critiqued the work selected by students and exhibited.

Hilde Krohn Huse opens in BLACK BOX Curatorial Space at UCA Farnham

UCA Farnham Fine Art's newly opened curatorial project space BLACK BOX has opened this week. It features the work of UCA Farnham Fine Art Alumni Hilde Krohn Huse, who is currently included in New Contemporaries 2015 with her work "Hanging In A Tree" that has caused an international viral news sensation.


Hilde is premiering a new provocative performance video work in BLACK BOX at UCA Farnham entitled "Father and Child".

Student will work to invite artists to exhibit in BLACK BOX for the remainder of the academic year.

Students Prepare for Work1 2015 Student Exhibition

UCA Farnham Fine Art students across years 1, 2 & 3 have started working together to prepare for and curate the first studio exhibition of the year. For year 1 students it is their 4th exhibition experience so far this academic year. 

Their exhibition that opens later this week, will form part of a critique of their work for individual and across year groups with visiting artists supporting the course lecturers.
