Celia Hempton in Silica, at Sultana Gallery, Paris

UCA Farnham Fine Art tutor Celia Hempton has an exhibition opening this Saturday 30th November at Sultana Gallery, 12 Rue des Arquebusiers 75003, Paris. The exhibition entitled "Silica" includes the work of Adham Faramawy and runs until 18th January 2014.

UCA Year 3 Student in Participatory Performance Print Exhibition

Year 3 UCA BA (Hons) Fine Art student Charlie Evaristo-Boyce is having a solo exhibition at The Arch Gallery on Cambridge Heath Road in East London. Mr Evaristo-Boyce will be utilising the print making process as a performance work exploring production, product and identity on the 2nd December with the exhibition being open until 4th December.

Year 2 Professional Practice Work Placement

As year 2 students embark on their Professional Practice Work Placement that forms a vital part of helping students to locate and develop their practice I asked year 3 students about their placements last year.  This opportunity enables year 2 students to use the vast range of transferable skills that they acquire whilst studying on the Fine Art course within workplace contexts.


Grant Petrey in 17th International Video Media Festival - VIDEOMEDEJA 2013

UCA Farnham Fine Art & Arts & Media tutor Grant Petrey has work in competition at 17th International Video Media Festival - VIDEOMEDEJA 2013 taking place in Novi Sad, Serbia from November 29th until December 1st. Other UK entrants screening work include Max Hattler and Stuart Pound.





Year 1 Fine Art Students Drawing Practice Exhibition

Year 1 students studying BA (Hons) Fine Art at UCA Farnham entered their 11th week of term and worked together to prepare for their 2nd Exhibition. Drawing practice forms a fundamental part of the 1st year experience to inform the development of their practice. This exhibition was an opportunity to discuss the importance of drawing within their practice and the different approaches to both formal and expanded drawing.
