This week 4 recent graduates from UCA Farnham BA (Hons) Fine Art, return to talk about the development of their practice. They discuss how their time at UCA Farnham Fine Art challenged and supported them and how they have been able to develop their practice.
Our alumni also spoke about their experiences in seeking opportunity and forging a sustainable career in the creative industries. They also engaged with students across each year group and further education for tutorial support.
Louisa Chambers
Louisa's work explores painting and surface via geometric abstraction, and she currently has a solo exhibition " Harlequin" at Gallery No.1 in Derbyshire until December 21st. After graduating from UCA Farnham Fine Art Louisa went on to study at the Royal College of Art. Louisa has exhibited on 7 occasions in 2014 alone at a variety of spaces including The Saatchi Gallery, London.

Rebecca Loweth
Becky is currently studying an MFA, and her work embraces expanded practices that include collage, film and installation to explore the souvenir and the idyllic. Louisa has exhibited on 3 occasion in 2014, including 'Wish You Were Here?', at The Atkinson Gallery, Southport. Louisa also has work in the Jeremy Cooper 'Artists' Postcards Collection'.

Alicia Tsigarides
Alicia Tsgarides is currently studying an MA at the Royal College of Art, her sculptural practice explores materiality and the narratives that can be present within the exploration of process and materiality within the spatial. Alicia has successfully completed two artist residencies in 2014, including the Scottish Sculpture Workshop, and has exhibited at the RCAstudio at Edinburgh College of Art. This year Alicia has also presented her work at the Exeter Phoenix Arts Centre, and been included in the publication "Express & Echo".

Miles Umney
Miles Umney's practice encompasses the still and moving image with strong references to Minimalism and Structural Film work to explore the sublime. This year Miles has engaged with a commission for Milton Keynes Council and is currently developing a commission for the mk Gallery. This year Miles has also exhibited in Birmingham and at the Slade Research Centre and is currently studying an MFA at the latter. Miles has been awarded three scholarships this year including the Wolverton Science & Art Scholarship and the Euan Uglow Memorial Scholarship.
