UCA Farnham Fine Art Student Success - Year 3 Exhibition at Oxford House, London

Year 3 BA (Hons) Fine Art students studying at UCA Farnham, submitted work from their portfolio for the first of not 1 but a total of 6 graduating exhibitions!

As a testament to their confidence and ambition, students will be exploring the potential of disseminating their practice within a range of different spaces and contexts to showcase their portfolios.

The first exhibition opened last night and took the form of a salon show at the OH! gallery at Oxford House in Bethnal Green in East London.

UCA Farnham Fine Art Student Success - Cheryl Simmons

UCA Farnham Fine Art student, Cheryl Simmons graduated in 2011 and is currently studying at The Slade. She is currently in the shortlist for the Aspen Art Award 2014.

Cheryl works with video, collage and drawing in order to question the reliability of historical information. Her videos have been screened across the UK at galleries and cinemas including Whitechapel Gallery, Nottingham Contemporary and Duke of York's Cinema, Brighton. She was also nominated for Red Mansion Prize 2013. She studied her BA in Fine Art (Hons) at University for the Creative Arts, Farnham and is currently studying an MA in Fine Art at Slade School of Fine Art, London.
